Your data, in plain words
This site collects as little as it can. Here is exactly what happens.
If you join the launch list
- What I collect: your email address, and only after you tick the consent box.
- Where it is kept: with Buttondown, the newsletter service I use. Buttondown asks you to confirm before you are added.
- What I send: an email when each AirGap Blueprints book launches, and occasional field notes. Nothing else.
- Who else sees it: no one. I do not sell, rent or share your address.
- Leaving: every email has an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. You can also email me to have your address deleted.
The self-check and the demo
The 60-second self-check and the activation demo run entirely in your browser. Your answers are never sent to me or anyone else, and they disappear when you close the page. If you use a share button, you choose what to post.
Buying a book
Purchases and free downloads are handled by Gumroad, which collects what it needs to deliver the book and process payment. Gumroad shares your email address (and name, if you give it) with me so I can send you updates to the edition you bought.
Hosting and fonts
- The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address and browser) to deliver the site and protect it from attacks.
- Fonts load from Google Fonts, so your browser contacts Google when you visit.
- The site sets no cookies and uses no advertising or tracking scripts.
